EXAMS & EVALUATION

For the overall assessment of a child, school follows the continuous & comprehensive evaluation scheme as suggested by CBSE. According to this Scheme the evaluation will include class tests, assignments and projects throughout the year on a regular basis from Class I onwards.

PLAY: Grades are given on the basis of periodical class assessment NUR / K.G. Grades are awarded on the basis of the performance in the tests, Half Yearly & Final Examination.

I-VIII: Marks are awarded on the basis of the performance in the Unit Tests, Half Yearly & Final Examination. The Pattern of assessment can change subject to the CBSE Guidelines.

Please Note: Children have to take the oral, written & Practical examination strictly on the scheduled date.

There shall be two UT Cycle before Half Yearly and one before Final Examination.

Promotion Policy -

1. The weight age to different test and examination for classes is given follows: Class Test/Unit Test : 30% Half Yearly Examination : 30% Annual Examination 40%.

2.A student whose attendance during the year would less than 75% may not be promoted to the next higher class as per the CBSE rules. The school does not entertain any plea for concession in, the shortage of attendance or for the re-examination of a student who has failed to earn promotion to the next higher class.

3. Absence from the test/examination in the system of continuous evaluation is not permitted. A student absenting himself/herself from a test/examination is not retested/re-examined and loses the credits to the missed test/examination in the cumulative score for the overall assessment of children, school follows the continuous & comprehensive evaluation scheme as suggested by CBSE. Student Body

The democratically-elected Student Council forms a formal link between the school's administrative body, faculty members and the students. The Council includes faculty advisers and the student representatives, which has Primary, Middle and Secondary School wings. Their involvement is sought in a wide range of projects including the disciplinary systems and peer-counselling,formalizing and implementation of the Standard Operating Procedures. It is also consulted from time to time by the Administration on such matters as the development of curriculum and facilities.
